12th August – the last leg to Mylor on the
River Fal. The wind was now south
westerly but fairly light so we once again motor-sailed in pleasant sunshine
finally picking up the mooring at Mylor late afternoon. Sarah met us to drive us back to
Lelant, St Ives, where David and Jane live.
We spent a very enjoying day wandering around the
streets of Falmouth one day and called in to see Sarah for scones and tea – all
very nice.
After a couple more days Dave and Jane drove me back
to Dorset where they also had to pick up their dog Millie as my sister had been
looking after her whilst we were away.
